Indian Institute of Bank Management(IIBM), Guwahati is an accredited institution for imparting DRA training. It is a National level Bank Training Institute sponsored, governed and managed primarily by Reserve Bank of India. The other co-sponsors are NABARD, SBI, Union Bank, Indian Bank, UCO Bank and Central Bank of India. Dr. M. D. Patra, Dy. Governor of RBI is Chairman of the Governing Board of IIBM, Guwahati and Shri Eugene E. Karthak, Ex-Executive Director of RBI is IIBM’s Director.
• To improve functional knowledge of the participants in the areas of banking products, policies, processes and procedures
• To bridge the knowledge gap of the Debt Recovery Agents about the bank products / policies / procedures and to sharpen the skill sets in collection, recovery, repossession of securities etc., as well as inter personal behavioural areas issues.
• The training provided by IIBM to the DRA participants is aimed at not only enabling them to pass the Certificate Examination conducted by IIBF but also in providing guidance and direction in the practical field.
• Direct Selling Agents / Direct Marketing Agents / Debt Recovery Agents or any other agents, by whatever name called, who are engaged directly or indirectly either for remuneration or for commission in connection with recovery of debt of banks or enforcement of securities in banks.
• Any individual who would like to make a career as a Debt Recovery Agent for banks.
The faculty members engage with the programme are highly qualified and well experienced in Banking and Recovery.
• Each training batch consist of 35 participants.
• The duration of the online training Programme will be 100 hours spread over 15 working days.
• The training will be in online mode as per IIBF guidelines in this Covid scenario. The participants can join the programme from their Laptop, Desktop, Tab, Smartphone etc. having a good internet connection.
• Case studies on loan recovery and other Banking areas are also administered to enable them to deal with problems in practical field.
• Training will be delivered as per the teaching/ session plan designed by IIBF
• Students will be provided with participation certificate for completion of the training indicating individual name, period of training, etc.

The institute will provide one IIBF published ‘Handbook on DRA’ to all the participants through post / courier in English, Hindi & other available vernacular languages. Further every evening we share online the study materials / PPTs on the topics covered during the day for reference of the participants.
Fees: One-time upfront training course fees is Rs.3500.00 (all inclusive) to be paid to the IIBM, Guwahati. The examination fees payable to IIBF on successful completion of training, for appearing at the Final Exam is Rs.1770.00. They can appear the Final Test at IIBF specified Test Centre in Guwahati (for North East Candidates) and Test Centre nearest to their own place for candidates other than North East.
• Candidate must have completed 18 years of age on the date of application for training.
• The candidate should be minimum Class X passed.

At the time of admission the participants are required to submit the documents in jpeg format and as per the size mentioned:
• ID Proof (PAN card/ AADHAR Card/ Driving Licence/ Passport). Size (10-20 KB)
• Qualification proof (Last Pass Certificate). Size (50-100 KB)
• Passport photographs. Size (10-20 KB)
• Scanned Signature. Size (10-20 KB)
* Without documents registration will not be accepted.
The candidates can make maximum three attempts to clear the Final Exam conducted by IIBF within a maximum period of nine month from the date of completion certificate.
