He is a seasoned banking professional with over 32 years of illustrious service at the State Bank of India, including an overseas assignment in Hong Kong. With a Ph.D. in Management and a proven track record in leadership roles such as Chairman of a rural bank, Director of Training at SBI, and Regional Manager, he brings unparalleled expertise in strategic banking operations. He has been appointed as Professor of Practice as per UGC guidelines. As Professor of Practice, he combines his academic acumen with practical insights to guide future leaders. Dr. Dutta’s areas of specialization include financial inclusion, international banking, trade finance, Micro-entrepreneurship, CSR, and sustainable development, reflecting his steadfast commitment to inclusive and community-driven banking practices.
