Dr. Pinky Dutta
Dr. Pinky Dutta: Dr. Pinky Dutta is working as a Faculty at Faculty Research Associate level in IIBM, Guwahati. Prior to joining the institute she worked as a ICSSR Post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University. She also worked as a guest faculty for nearly two years in Community College, Tezpur University.
She was associated as a Research Associate in ICSSR sponsored project titled “Financial Inclusion in Assam: Achievement and Hindrances” in Tezpur University. She has done her Ph.D from Tezpur University on a topic titled “Cost Structure and Financial Sustainability of Microfinance Institutions: A Study on Select MFIs in Assam” in 2017 supported by ICSSR doctoral fellowship, New Delhi.
Dr. Dutta’s area of interest includes financial inclusion, microfinance, effects demonetisation and digitisation of rural financial institutions and banks. She has published ten research papers in national and international journals. She has presented her research work in various conferences held in Bankers Institute for Rural Development, Lucknow and Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati.
